I never imagined this could work. Even more so, it never came to my mind that someone might try it at all – but Lycopolis proved me wrong with this incredible chimera of arabic scales and raw second wave black metal. Given the serious punishment for blasphemy in their homeland this is far beyond the often ridiculous masquerade of nowadays black metal. To the contrary, Lycopolis even might demonstrate what black metal could be about. (check out »Amduat Part II – The Hall of Maat« as well!)
